Furlough scheme is ending
2021 - September, Latest news
The Furlough scheme was introduced by the Government in Spring 2020 to help employers avoid making their employees redundant during the lockdown.
This scheme is due to close at the end of September 2021.
It is expected that some employers will now need to make redundancies or cut hours for employees once the scheme closes.
