With the introduction of the Building Safety Act 2022, this has given us opportunity to look at how we manage High Risk Buildings (HRB's). By definition, a property is a HRB by the recorded height, not specifically a higher risk process or use within it. Where a property is at 18 metres in height from ground to the floor of the top level or is at least 7 floors, this becomes a HRB and falls under the stated legislation.
One key requirement of this legislation is around giving you as a resident of a HRB at PA Housing a voice to assist us in making your home safer. The Resident Engagement Plan linked below sets out how we will engage and communicate with you as residents of Eden Grove - Fern House and the building safety and management of the building going forward.
